Beijing + Kunming + Lijiang (8D)

Day 01 Arrival in Beijing (L)
English speaking guide will meet you at the airport and make the transfer to the hotel. After lunch, you will visit Tian’anmen Square and Forbidden City. Then you will be transferred to hotel.
Accommodation is at the decent 4 star hotel.

Day 02 Beijing (B, L,SD)
The highlight tour today is to visit the Great Wall in the morning, and the Olympic Green with the ‘Birds’ Nest’ and the ‘Water Cube’ in the afternoon. The Authentic Peking Roasted Duck will be served for today’s dinner.

Day 03 Beijing-Kunming (B, SD)
After having breakfast at hotel, take flight to Kunming which is famous as Spring City in China. If time permits, you will visit Yunnan Ethnic Village Park and Yunnan Minorities Museum. Dinner with Crossing Bridge Rice Noodle.

Day 04 Kunming (B, L,D)
After having breakfast at hotel, drive to visit Stone Forest, the geological Karst landscape wonder with the colorful local Sani People living around.

Day 05 Kunming-Lijiang(B, L,D)
After having breakfast at hotel, take 45 minutes flight from Kunming to Lijiang, Upon arrival, you will met and transferred to downtown, visit Lijiang Ancient Town and Mufu (Mu's Mansion).

Day 06 Lijiang(B, L,D)
Visit the Yulong snow mountain, Jade Peak Monastery, and Baisha Naxi Village where you will see the 500-year-old Baisha Fresco.

Day 07 Lijiang-Kunming-Beijing (B)
Take flight from Lijiang to Kunming then transfer flight to Beijing. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to hotel. It will be your free time afterwards. Overnight at Beijing.

Day 08 Departure from Beijing (B)
After having breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for the departure flight.

Lijiang

Soaring to 5500m, some 35km from Lijiang, is Yulong Xueshan, also known as Mt Satseto. In Lijiang City you can have a magnificent view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, with the main peak thrust into the clouds, the Old Man Peak standing out on the right and Black Snow Peak on its left. Its peak was climbed for the first time in 1963 by a research team from Beijing.
The 13 peaks of 18,360-foot Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, a treasure of wild plants and rare animals, are like a silver dragon lying in the clouds. Awesome and unconquered, they dominate the Lijiang Plain. Some have described Jade Dragon Snow Mountain as a radiant cornet crowning Lijiang`s head. It is said that the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain arose from an ancient geosyncline 230 million years ago in an age when dinosaurs began to increase and formed its present shape sometime during the last 600,000 years, even as late as 12,000 years ago.
