Beijing + Xi'an + Shanghai (9D)

Day 01 Arrival in Beijing
English speaking guide will meet you at the airport and make the transfer to the hotel. It will be your free time afterwards.

Day 02 Beijing (B, L)
A full day tour to the Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City in the morning; and the Summer Palace in the afternoon.
Accommodation is at the decent 4 Star hotel.


Day 03 Beijing (B, L, SD)
The highlight tour today is to visit the Great Wall in the morning, and the Olympic Green with the ‘Birds’ Nest’ and the ‘Water Cube’ in the afternoon. The Authentic Peking Roasted Duck will be served for today’s dinner.
Accommodation is at the decent 4 Star hotel.



Day 04 Beijing to Xi’an (B, L,D)
It will be the full morning visit for you at the Temple of Heaven. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for the 2-hour flight to Xi’an. Upon arrival in Xi’an, the local guide will serve you for the Ancient City Wall.

Day 05 Xi’an (B, L, SD)
It will be the great day for you to visit the Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses in the morning; then to visit the Wild Goose Pagoda in the afternoon. Tonight we have prepared you the local flavor dinner for 18-course dumplings.

Day 06 Xi’an to Shanghai (B, L)
This morning you will visit the Great Mosque and the Muslim quarters. After lunch, you are flying another 2-hour flight to Shanghai. It will be your free time upon arrival to your hotel.

Day 07 Shanghai (B, L, D)
Today you will start to visit the Yuyuan Garden and the old area of the city; then you will take some of your own time hanging around the lively waterfront, famous known as the ‘bund’. After lunch, you will be strolling at Xintiandi where you will find the center of cafeterias, bars & restaurants, the arts & crafts shops. Tonight’s acrobatic show will leave you a good memory.

Day 08 Shanghai-Suzhou-Shanghai (B, L, D)
It will be a full day coach excursion trip from Shanghai to Suzhou, known as Oriental Venice, where you will visit the Garden of Mater of Nets, the Hanshan Temple, the authentic Silk Factory; besides you will have a chance to take the boat ride on the canal in Suzhou. In the afternoon, take coach back to Shanghai.

Day 09 Departure from Shanghai (B, L)
You will visit the Shanghai Museum in the morning. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for the departure flight.

 

Suzhou

Suzhou is a well-known garden city in Jiangsu Province. It's a historic city in China and also the center of cotton, silk and wool. The Humble Administrator's Garden presents a traditional Chinese ink-and-wash painting before you, and walking in the garden, you would feel you are actually walking in the paintings! The Lingering Garden is one of the best gardens in Suzhou as well as being one of the four most famous gardens in China. Zhouzhuang, a small town near Suzhou, is the China's top water county. The layout of the town and the residential areas maintains the traditional style and the old river ways and boats are very popular among the visitors. Besides, Suzhou has its unique highlights such as Kunqu Opera, Suzhou Opera and Suzhou embroidery.
