Highlights of the Dynamic Tokyo package include a stunning view from atop Tokyo Tower, a Japanese tea ceremony in a beautiful setting, and a visit to the Imperial Palace Plaza.
Enjoy a panoramic view of the city from Tokyo Tower before participating in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony at Happo-en Japanese gardens. Savor lunch at the beautiful former manor, the Chinzanso restaurant, then take a stroll along the moat surrounding the Imperial Palace Plaza. Board a cruise at Hinode Pier for a 40-minute trip up the Sumida River to Asakusa. Browse the many colorful stores lining the Nakamise walkway leading up to Sensoji Temple, Tokyo's oldest and most famous Buddhist temple, before passing through Ginza, Japan's world-renowned shopping and entertainment district.

Itinerary

9:00 a.m.
Leave Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal and visit the following places by bus.
Tokyo Tower
Enjoy a panoramic view of Tokyo from the observatory. (40 min.)
Japanese Garden and Tea Ceremony
Participate in a traditional tea ceremony at the Happoen Japanese Garden. (35 min.)
Lunch
Have a barbecue lunch at Chinzanso Restaurant.
Imperial Palace Plaza
Make a short stop for photos at the plaza in front of the Imperial Palace. (30 min.)
Sumida River Cruise
Enjoy a 40 minute boat ride on the Sumidagawa Line from Hinode Pier on Tokyo Bay to Asakusa. This river was instrumental in the development of Tokyo.
Asakusa Kannon Temple and Nakamise-dori
Sensoji is the oldest and most popular Buddhist temple in Tokyo. The promenade leading to the temple, called Nakamise-dori, is lined on both sides by many small food and souvenir shops. (40 min.)
See Ginza, the most celebrated shopping district in Tokyo, en route to Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal.
Ginza Shopping District (Drive through)
The most celebrated shopping and amusement area. Back to HB/Dorp-off service between 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m.

Back to Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal. Drop-off service between 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m..

Remarks

1. When Happoen Garden is closed, we will visit Meiji Jingu Shrine instead.
2. Due to overcrowding, the Sumida River Cruise will be changed to cherry blossom viewing in Sumida Park during cherry blossom season in the spring.
